NH State Rep Nickolas Levasseur Wants to Kill Republicans

Bruce has done the excellent background work here and here. This reprehensible little shit should be ashamed of himself.

Have a look at his MySpace Profile. Or don’t. Here’s the exceedingly violent part (other than the multiple statements of “go fuck yourself,” of course - expect nothing less of a Democrat):

Nickolas Levasseur Wants To Kill Republicans

It is wholly inexcusable for an elected official to be an uneducated drinking college brat making his own decisions on issues involving the 2nd Amendment. Nickolas Levasseur should not be involved in any legislative role. Period.

Now have a look at this page. Here’s a great quote:

Rep. Nikoli the magic mushroom. Shove me in a dark place, feed me a fist full of shit, and watch me grow!

How quaint. Now keep in mind the whole “shooting Republicans” thing, and have a look at the bottom of this picture from the above linked page:

Nickolas Levasseur Wants To Kill Republicans

Stressed.

No shit.

Save the Owls! Shovel More Snow!

Damned if we do, damned if we don’t …

Owls In New Hampshire Struggling To Find Food

GLOBAL WARMING! Errr … maybe not …

Owls are struggling to find food in New Hampshire this winter, animal rescuers said.

Debra Gode, of Winchester, said the owls’ main food — the red-backed vole, a rodent — are in short supply. She said the constant snow cover also has made it harder to find food.

Great. As if I wasn’t guilty enough about it being my fault that the seas are going to rise 20 feet and we’re all going to incinerate because my minivan isn’t a hybrid and my lightbulbs are still incandescent, now I have to feel guilty because there’s just too much snow. Next time, let’s take the long way home, stuff some more carbon in the atmosphere and make next winter warmer. Save the OWLS!

Holy Shit I Can’t Believe What I’m Reading …

This is exactly the type of insanity pro-2A folks deal with. It’s like watching a train wreck.

Don’t bow to fear; keep college campuses gun-free zones

The headline alone is enough to make me begin to smile in wonder at how people can seriously make these arguments … I mean really …

In one year, Americans have mourned the senseless slaughter of dozens of promising lives in two terrifying mass shootings on college campuses. In each, gunmen burst into classrooms, fired to kill, then took their own lives.

You know, someone should really check into that and make it illegal to shoot people. Clearly, they shouldn’t allow guns on campuses!

The latest horrific violence took place at a lecture hall at Northern Illinois University, leaving six dead and 15 wounded. The 27-year-old shooter was described as “a very good student and a fairly unstressed person” by the campus director of public safety. It appears he began acting erratically after he stopped taking medication.

The facts in the case are evolving. But already gun advocates are busily screaming that sensible gun laws contributed to the death toll. Here’s the drumbeat: Because colleges and universities there are “gun-free-zones,” (as are North Carolina’s public campuses) the victims could not defend themselves.

Picture yourself as a college student, fucker! How would you defend yourself staring down the barrel of a shotgun being pointed at you by some crazy with nothing more than a #2 pencil and a copy of some Noam Chomsky socialist screed? Do these people think life is a cartoon? Like you could stick your fingers in the barrel a la bugs bunny and it’ll blow up in the guys face? Wascally Wabbit indeed.

And YES. Because colleges and universities are “gun free zones” and people who don’t want to get themselves in trouble have to follow the laws or be branded a psychopath themselves because they’re showing independence from the protective collectivist police state you’re so busy promoting, then sure, the only bastard armed in the place is the crazy one who doesn’t give a rats ass about being thrown in prison because he’s determined to go out in his deranged blaze of glory.

Yes, you heard correctly. To defend themselves, students, faculty and staff on campuses need to be able to pack heat. Confront a loaded gun with … a loaded gun.

I love the “Yes, you heard correctly.” Like, “Oh my God, how ridiculous is that idea! That people have to actually defend themselves with something lethal because … somebody wants to kill them! Ewww! It’s so … icky!”

Okay, YOU bring a cell phone to a shotgun fight, see how far it gets you.

That premise is absurd. It’s also dangerous. Arming campuses is no solution to incomprehensible acts of mass violence. Here’s why.

You’re going to love this …

Reality No. 1: A kid or professor packing heat would likely have increased the bloodshed and body count at NIU, not saved lives. Imagine a lecture hall with a dozen shooters going at it.

Show me one news story … anywhere … any time … where someone intent on committing mass murder was in turn confronted by a dozen individuals who somehow managed to just all shoot innocent bystanders and raise the body count. I’m sorry, your reality number one is a flat out fantastical lie borne out of watching too much Hollywood shit. Prove it.

Reality No. 2: Suicide is the second leading cause of death for college students, after traffic accidents. Statistics show far more students die by suicide than by homicide. It stands to reason having ready access to guns would sharply increase the incidence of death by gunshot wound — and of suicide.

That’s just proof of what the “enlightened side” thinks of you. You have a gun, you’re that much more likely to get a conceal carry permit because guns are allowed on campus just so you can shoot yourself when the grades are down. These people don’t trust themselves, so they can’t trust you. If individuals want to blow their own brains out, they’ll find an easier way than applying for a conceal permit and doing it in the lecture hall. These people would have you believe that there are two options - ban guns, or hand them out in the bathroom like condoms to any drunk shithead who wants them.

Think about it: Young people live in close quarters on college campuses. Their maturity and impulse control are still developing. Alcohol use is commonplace. Guns would be a tragic addition to the mix.

No, a psychopath with guns in a locked room of defenseless citizens is tragic. Giving at least one person the chance to defend himself is not tragic, it’s a human right.

Illinois has some of the toughest gun laws in the country.

Shit, that didn’t work, did it?

Illinois cities can sue gun manufacturers

After everyone’s already dead!

… background checks are required at gun shows

Which does a law-abiding individual plenty good when he’s not allowed to carry on campus!

there is a waiting period on all gun purchases

So the psychopath has a few more days to plan how he’s going to waltz into a lecture hall and fire on an unarmed crowd!

and it is one of only two states in the nation where private citizens are prevented from carrying concealed handguns.

Good on ya, Illinois! The Brady’s have you in the top 10! It’s great giving a mass murderer an easier time and preventing good lawful students from protecting their own lives. Nice job! Can family of the victims sue YOU for the dumbass law, or are you just going to hide behind “gun manufacturers” in the hopes that nobody notices the blood on your hands?

Good for Illinois. Those are all sensible safeguards that increase the chances of keeping guns out of the hands of convicted criminals or those who are mentally disturbed.

Is this serious? Good for Illinois? Sensible safeguards that … what? How do you make this argument with a straight face? It simply has to be a joke. A killer walks into a room of people who are disarmed by legislation, kills and kills himself and not a damn person had a chance to stop it because Illinois is one of “two states in the nation where private citizens are prevented from carrying concealed handguns” and you’re … happy for them?

Allow students, staff and faculty to carry weapons on college campuses? No. It’s a trigger for greater tragedy.

Losing all of your credibility being the chief tragedy on the line, I presume.

What’s Schmuck Schumer Up To?

Oh, just take a guess

You know, it’s too predictable. So I’m going to re-write this story a little as we go just to shine some light on what’s in between the lines …

Following a spate of campus attacks and threats, including the fatal shootings at Northern Illinois University and a chilling message scrawled in a boys’ bathroom at a Levittown high school, federal lawmakers are renewing a push to beef up gun-control laws scrambling for ways to ban guns by taking advantage of disarmed dead people, fund safety procedures horde even more tax money to make people even more disarmed than they’re already supposed to be and study the link between college shootings and mental illness spend lots of that new tax money trying to get all the retards in congress to ignore the solution staring them in the face with a sooper purdy dog and pony show!

Hmm. That’s better …

Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.)Some shit-for-brains New York elitist swine who wouldn’t recognize the constitution if you glued it to the end of a pry bar and lobotomized him with it, at a news conference yesterday in Manhattan, said he and congressional colleagues other communist swine that also happen to get elected thanks to fucking New York, Massachusetts, California and New Jersey plan to step up efforts to close loopholes in gun-control measures spend tax money passing phantom legislation for a problem that doesn’t exist and create a federal task force an unconstitutional brute squad to come up with national school safety guidelines even more ways to grab tax dollars and spend it on over-reaching big government projects. They also plan to push for congressional hearings tax-wasting dog and pony shows on links between mental illness and school violence.

It’s boring blogging about this crap because the response is just so typical. Here’s some fun stuff though:

The effort comes a little more than a month after President George W. Bush signed a gun-control bill in response to a horrific shooting at Virginia Tech University, where a student with a history of mental troubles killed 32 people in April. The law seeks to expand the federal database used to screen gun buyers to include more than 2 million people who are not eligible to buy firearms, including those with mental problems.

That measure includes only “adjudicated” mentally ill patients, Schumer said. While it would have applied to Seung-Hui Cho, the gunman at Virginia Tech, it would not have revealed Illinois campus shooter Steven Kazmierczak, because he never was ruled mentally ill.

Okay, what’s your solution? The days of Minority Report aren’t here, where we can watch the pre-cogs flipping around in milky water and then storm into apartments to arrest people before they’ve committed crimes.

Ultimately, for all of these bastards, it comes down to one thing - take away all guns. Make it illegal always regardless of anything excepting of course those dedicated to “serve and protect” or rather “observe and rule.”

Among the efforts Schumer outlined are a bill introduced by Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) last February, which is stalled in Congress, to provide funding for security at colleges and high schools.

“We have to make sure every college campus has a plan to deal with the violence,” he said.

And there you have it. Throw money at the problem, and don’t solve it. Two things Dummocrats are really good at. They’ll install metal detectors, give all sorts of money to universities far and wide to hire extra armed security guards - you know, so there’s no need to conceal a weapon on your own there. And then they’ll be able to “respond promptly” to any emergency because that’s precisely what Schmuck Schumer wants. Just like NIU when they arrived just on time with guns drawn when they really didn’t need to arrive with anything more than a mop and a bucket.

Expect Nothing Less of the SF Chron

Madness indeed.

Stockton 1989. Littleton 1999. Virginia Tech 2007. Add the awful scenes from Northern Illinois University 2008 (above) to the school-shooting horrors that lay further testament to the dangers of firearms in the hands of madmen.

The worst possible response to last week’s lecture-hall shooting that left five dead would be to rationalize legislation in 12 states (in response to the Virginia Tech massacre) that would allow people with concealed-weapons permits to carry guns on public universities. The problem is not a lack of guns in the right hands. It is the ease with which guns end up in the wrong hands.

Riiiiight. And the “wrong hands” are “everyone’s hands,” I’d wager. No thank you. Some days I’d be perfectly happy to see California break at the fault line, drift into the ocean, and finally become a Mexican island.

Breakin’ the law, breakin the law …

Marko’s excellent take:

People shouldn’t be forced to choose between their right to self-defense and their freedom. The very thought that a bunch of people in some far-away gold-domed building can decide for you whether you may bear the tools to save your own life merely because another group of people gave them the authority to do that is ludicrous. But who in their right mind would give a rat’s ass about permission slips and majority approval when one’s own life is at stake?

Islam Smack-Down, Stanford Pwned by Gay Porn Star

Of course, bringing up these points at a major university is about as useful as flogging yourself with a dead armadillo - as the comments on the article too clearly illustrate.

What fostered my distain for Islam? The contempt that Muslim men vomit on women, treating them with less respect than camels. That includes the infibulation — female circumcision — of young girls; the imposition of chadors and burqas; the decapitation of adulterous wives (but never adulterous husbands); the fact that, in most Muslim countries, women cannot go to school, see a doctor or even leave their own houses without a male escort; the approval of polygamy; the arranged marriages that involve girls as young as 9; the barring of women from taking part in public life or in any receptions, even those of their own weddings; the death penalty for drinkers of alcohol; the mutilation penalty for thieves; the public killings of homosexuals. Doesn’t all of this originate from the Koran? Have you ever thought that, instead of protesting me, you should protest against those atrocities, maybe organizing some short demonstration in front of Muslim embassies? Why instead are you unleashing your hate against one who speaks against those crimes? Why are you denying my right to compare the Koran, the text in which these facts originate, to Hitler’s “Mein Kampf?” The Koran, that for 1,400 years has tormented humanity more than the Bible, the Gospels and the Torah combined? Do not suppress or boycott someone who has a different opinion, even if you disagree with this opinion. Debate it. Argue it. In a civilized manner. Otherwise, what is the difference between you and Islam?

When Seconds Count … part 3

What to do in an emergency

LACONIA, N.H. — A problem with Verizon disrupted landlines and cell phones in the Laconia area Thursday evening. State emergency officials said that the problem affected Laconia and 25 surrounding communities. Calls have been unable to go out. Full service isn’t expected to be restored until 10 p.m. or later on Thursday.

911 is supposedly working. But then we have this:

As of 7 p.m., 911 service in the area was working. Emergency calls were being transferred to Concord and then to local fire or police departments. Customers could also call people within their same three-digit calling exchange.

Officials said that anyone with an emergency who could not reach 911 should then try the local number for their police or fire department. As a last resort, drive to one of the departments.

Yeah, don’t worry. They’ll protect you.
