We apologise for the removal and the delay in getting it back, but when you run a website you don’t consider that some people would be insecure enough to threaten our lives simply because they do not like the content of a video we neither produced nor endorsed but merely hosted.

It’s a logical argument that illogical people won’t consider, of course. I’m thrilled to see them put it back up.

I watched the video. Yes, it’s disturbing, but it also makes me angry. Beyond angry. I cannot see those towers going down, see the people falling, and hear the voices of those in their very last moments without feeling a very basic, very intense rage. I’m just as angry at those who have whisked those feelings away. Those who would whitewash it all in the name of PC religion.

Of course, bringing up these points at a major university is about as useful as flogging yourself with a dead armadillo - as the comments on the article too clearly illustrate.

What fostered my distain for Islam? The contempt that Muslim men vomit on women, treating them with less respect than camels. That includes the infibulation — female circumcision — of young girls; the imposition of chadors and burqas; the decapitation of adulterous wives (but never adulterous husbands); the fact that, in most Muslim countries, women cannot go to school, see a doctor or even leave their own houses without a male escort; the approval of polygamy; the arranged marriages that involve girls as young as 9; the barring of women from taking part in public life or in any receptions, even those of their own weddings; the death penalty for drinkers of alcohol; the mutilation penalty for thieves; the public killings of homosexuals. Doesn’t all of this originate from the Koran? Have you ever thought that, instead of protesting me, you should protest against those atrocities, maybe organizing some short demonstration in front of Muslim embassies? Why instead are you unleashing your hate against one who speaks against those crimes? Why are you denying my right to compare the Koran, the text in which these facts originate, to Hitler’s “Mein Kampf?” The Koran, that for 1,400 years has tormented humanity more than the Bible, the Gospels and the Torah combined? Do not suppress or boycott someone who has a different opinion, even if you disagree with this opinion. Debate it. Argue it. In a civilized manner. Otherwise, what is the difference between you and Islam?

Indian tennis star Sania Mirza plans to skip the Bangalore Open next month to avoid possible controversy in her home country.

Behind every action that every person takes on this planet, there is a motive. Something drives each and every one of us to do the things we do. A gun cannot make somebody a killer. Indoctrination, however, can.

In the case of islam which is supposedly completely benign and being given a bad name by a fringe group of crazies hell-bent on beheading anyone and everyone that doesn’t believe precisely what they do, indoctrination starts young:

To say that this is a rare scenario is to completely ignore stark reality. It’s why you see very little uproar from muslim countries in regards to suicide bombings, beheadings and the application of sharia law.

Jailed for two weeks because a Teddy Bear was named Muhammed at the request of your students? Calls for execution by the public because of it? It’s too much. Cartoons (some of which were obvious fakes), speeches, “Western-style clothing“, even. 200 lashes for getting gang-raped? Being hanged for homosexuality:

islam is a disease and it’s more than just a few bad apples that are infected. Many people in the United States are affected as well. You don’t hear condemnations from NOW against regular beatings, rapes, lashings, and subjugation of women unless it fits an anti-Bush agenda. You don’t hear gay rights groups crying about death sentences for homosexuals. Instead, we’re all treated to a big heaping dose of “religion of peace” and “hijacked by extremists”. Garbage. All of it.

After all, it is sura 9 in the quran which contains the “verse of the sword,” stating, “slay the unbelievers wherever you find them.”

I feel the warm fuzzies already. Religion of peace, indeed.

Imagine our Western world under this kind of rule. Imagine gays being hanged because they’re gay. Women being tortured because they’re gang-raped. Western-style clothing getting you arrested. Beheadings being justified by your holy book.

That’s not a religion of peace, that’s hell. Hell on Earth, and it’s a problem. Those who speak out against islam or who are perceived to slight the religion or it’s practices find themselves hunted and subject to death threats or simply killed. Just ask Theo Van Gogh.

It’s with all of these facts in mind when I say islam is a disease. Adults infect children and the cycle continues - a cycle of death, hatred, and unthinking violence. By not speaking out and condemning the horrors of islam, those who claim to be “moderate muslims” are just as guilty of these atrocities as those who slit throats in the name of their shared god.

And as technology moves, innovation continues, and “Western” countries move on with greater inventions, infrastructure, and quality of life, it’s the islamist cess-pits of Sudan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc. who will be left behind, having never given their children the possibility of bettering their lives through freedom and innovation. One generation of thugs, murderers, and barbarian savages raising another generation of thugs, murderers, and barbarian savages to continue with a backwards ideology hell-bent on destroying anything which questions their infection.

So with that, I shake my head at any mention of the “religion of peace”. I shake my head at feckless multi-culturalists who preach “tolerance and understanding” of islam. My blood boils at those who scream about how our foreign policy is the only reason violence is associated with islam, and I feel a serious duty and responsibility to our founding fathers who fought their own version of tyranny to make our lives free and overflowing with liberty. Particularly when some of our own citizens are so quick to dismiss my fears in the face of overwhelming evidence just because they don’t want to offend a “peaceful” religion.

If it’s truly that peaceful … what are they so afraid of?

Pamela’s headline says it all: Close The Freaking Border, Indeed. It’s just a matter of time before this feckless administration promotes Vicente Fox to Secretary of Homeland Security in the name of “Outreach”. Two things I’m tired of … pandering to people who are not citizens and have broken the law by setting foot on American Soil, and pandering to this multi-cultural nightmare.

We should not be ashamed of our American identity. We should not alter our rules to make others feel “included”. Want to feel included? Love this country and what freedom provides for you as much as I do, and learn to speak our common language. If someone wants to cross our border that doesn’t have a desire to become American as a priority, they don’t deserve the privilege of living on American soil. That goes doubly for those festering diseased leftists among us who paint my country as barbaric, ruthless, and evil.
