Friday Evening Patriot - Samuel Adams

Love it …

“The said constitution should be never construed … to prevent the people of the United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms.”

    Greetings FFLLIBERTY,
I just dropped by after reading your comments over at Bruce’s site, MassBackwards.I noticed you said you were from the White Mtn area of New Hampshire, as I am too, I was wondering if you might be nearby enough to meet at a range sometime and throw some lead. The gun store you referenced wouldn’t be in Whitefield ,would it?.I visit it often. I’ve been shooting with Bruce at my club in Madison and we’ve always said it would be fun to get some kind of a NorthEast shooting day arranged for those able and interested.I migrated to Carroll County over 20 years ago from the Northshore of Mass.I didn’t know then what a good move it would turn out to be.Feel free to contact me if your up to a range day.

PS. nice Blog, glad I found it.

    Angus!

Northeast Shooting Day! That would be most excellent. I’ll drop you a line, I’m always in the mood to plink.

And yes, I was referencing the most excellent Village Gun Store.

And congratulations on the honor of being the first to comment on the blog! Your Fighting For Liberty board game and lovely parting gifts will be arriving shortly. Or not. :)

First commentor? I’m honored, but thats hard to believe! I’ve been browsing around your place here and I see it is full of good stuff. Consider yourself bookmarked.
Yeah, the VGS rocks! Stan and Sandy get to see me a couple times a month at least. I live 45 minutes south. I keep urging them to offer a frequent buyers card so I might be due a free gun like Dunkin’ Donuts gives you a free coffee when you fill your card up.

I try to shoot once a week at least, rain, snow or shine. Anytime you can get free, shoot me an e-mail. How’s that new Kahr working out for you? Are you familiar with the Alder Brook Range in Littleton?

Ahhh, first comment, first bookmark. You, sir, are too kind.

The new Kahr is brutal, but in a good kind of way. It’s thin, and with big paws like mine it’s a little tricky to get totally comfortable.

Definitely not what I’d consider a range gun.

    Definitely not for plinking.

Definitely don’t want to whack a squirrel with it … unless you want to vaporize it’s head.
