Boston police are launching a program that will call upon parents in high-crime neighborhoods to allow detectives into their homes, without a warrant, to search for guns in their children’s bedrooms.

    I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that headline this morning at Dunkin’ D’s; nor could I bring myself to buy a copy and actually read it. It is at least as disappointingly shocking as I had suspected it would be! This has to go into the big WTF file.

    That’s an excellent idea. I need a “WTF File”. That would definitely qualify. It’s worse than that Stop-and-Frisk proposal in Pennsylvania which is essentially another case of illegal search and seizure.
