No Drama This September 11th
September 11th pisses me off, for many obvious reasons. Because of those that deny or question what happened (ie: those who have no grip on reality). Because of those who committed the act, because of those who don’t care either way, because of those who puff out their chests and say, “Serves you right.”
Beyond that, however, this day is one of renewal for me. Renewal of pride in my country, love of my country, and my determination and dedication to personal liberty and the freedom of myself and my family. Nobody can take that pride away. No assault or aggression can remove my love of my home country, and no measure of man - no matter their size, strength, numbers or ideology - can take away my determination to defend my personal liberty.
So no long posts about what happened. No pictures of people jumping from the towers. No recordings of American’s last words on a 911 call before those buildings came crashing down. You can get that stuff anywhere and everywhere. One post from me today, and this is it.
Today I’m reminded of American pride, and all I want to do is enjoy some simple things like this:

I love how he would start with the third verse.
Then there’s always Toby Keith: “We’ll put a boot in your ass, it’s the American Way.” That’s why we haven’t been hit again.
