OK...I work for one of the top 10 Defense Contractors in the country...no, I'm not kidding. Its a politically correct office which is staffed (by well over 60%) with bright-faced, cheery, just-out-of-college-liberal-brainwashed-sheeple.

Some of the comments today included (but were not limited to...)

A) What a sneaky sonnofa-beeatch that McCain guy is! What gives him the right to think he can pick a woman?

B) If McCain wins, I'm moving to Canada. (Ahhhh...yet more promises made by a Lib that will be broken by a Lib...gee, I'm appalled!)

C) She must not be much of a *woman* if she's a politician. (That from a Hillary supporter...)

D) Sarah *who*?

I'm going to admit, I had no clue who Palin was, and to be honest, I really didn't care...I live in a state who's metropolitan city probably has more people on it (yes, its an island...anyone care to guess where I live? :-) ) than Alaska has as its whole frapping population. But I've been reading up on Mrs. Palin, and I'm rather impressed, not because she has done what she has, but that she's only 44 and has done what she has.

I think that, for the first time in as long as I can remember, the Republican Party has out-manuevered the Dems at their own game. There are 67 days left till Election Day, so I'm not going to say that this is a slam-dunk, but I will say that I think the Libs are finding themselves on their own 5 yardline, with 2 timeouts, and about 5 minutes on the clock. Problem is, they have a third-round rookie quarterback with a third-round has-been quarterback as a backup, where the Republicans have a veteran quarterback being backed up by a damned good, first-round rookie.

You'll know that the game is over when the Messiah throws that Hail Mary pass and gets his ass intercepted.

(Messiah...Hail Mary...yes, pun intended....)

"Dang it! Do I have to donate now?"

Slow down there ... let's not take this to extremes. :-)

I'm so used to Bush "getting it right" only because I've screamed my head off and sent dozens of faxes like every other pissed off person. See, the Stupid Party version of this would be nominating Romney, then changing their mind and putting forward an actual conservative after everyone yelled at them.

What's encouraging is that something was done right the first time around. Now ... I'm still not sold on whether this was accidental or not. We'll see. For the next week though, I'm going to mightily enjoy watching liberal heads explode.

I didn't think that the Stupid party was this smart. I kind of feel bad about the GOP fund riser that called me a couple of days ago. I was pretty vocal about why I can't stand them.
