No problem with wolf here, it is cheap and has always worked in my AR and AK. . . I just clean them good after.

Hmm. Never used White Box. I use the Winchester Super X .22 ammo (500/box) for the Buckmark. Stuff works like a charm.

Wolf though … I’ve had fair luck with. Had a bad batch or three, but for the most part it shoots well so I’m willing to forgive the filthiness.

Now that “mildly corrosive” 7.62×54 Russian or Hungarian stuff. GAH … pigs are cleaner. Never misfires, though.

If I’m buying it at the range I get Wolf.

If I’m buying it beforehand I get Winchester White Box from the local Wal-Mart. 40 rounds for $25.

Typical WWB - absolutely filthy, need to soak the gun in CLP in the bathtub afterwards, but shoots just fine out of my Romanian WASR 10.
