Some thoughts on this disease.

First, I have it. It took 2 EBRs to bring my symptoms under control.

Second, Any rifle can be EBR'd, as can most shotguns. I personally have an old Browning A-5 that had a cracked stock. A black plastic stock kit and and Choate extension tube, and it is now a scary black gun.

Third, sometimes color doesn't matter. Even a blue, pink, or orange AR-15 is still an EBR.

You had me as well.

I'm in the throes of full on DPMS-LR308 build up right now, and there is no cure. I assure you that the financially unbearable affliction is well worth it!

Verily, verily, I say unto you. Thou wilt not overcome thy EBR Syndrome whilst tinkering with .223. The EBR shall continue to eat at thy flesh and thy innards.

Go ye, therefore, unto the Land Of 7.62, and thou wilt find solace and comfort. Carry thy 7.62 in bundles of 30, housed in curved European metal, and fastened securely to a device of both Metal and Wood, for none of the tacti-cool plastic will truly quench thy thirst.

I second jay's statement....you puckered my asshole with that one...then got me roaring with laughter!

I'm saving up for a Springfield Scout M1A, if that's any help.

I don't like .223, .308 is much better. 6.8 SPC is in the middle, and the .450 Bushmaster kicks ass!

Holy shit! You had me hook line ind sinker there for a moment. I thought you were going to tell how you had terminal syph or something! Damn!
I cured my EBR Syndrome a year ago or so. I've felt great since and have experienced a certain feeling of security and safety ever since.
