Investment Ammunition
Seriously … ammo costs are rising faster than fuel costs. If I stock up on something like a bazillion rounds of .22, considering it was about $16 for a brick of 500 last year, and it’s $24 for a brick of 500 right now …
… China continues to buy up raw materials such as brass, copper; raising the prices continually here in the States just like they have been …
… Then … in a couple of years, when it’s $38 for a brick of 500, I could turn around and sell it for a hefty profit!
Only … I wouldn’t be able to. Because I’d already have shot the whole damn stockpile at steel cans and whatever other breakable shit I have lying around in my garage. Seriously, what gun-nut can resist a bazillion rounds of ammo stacked up in neat little perfect piles in his basement? I imagine myself sweating a little … staring at it before a trip to the range … “Maybe I’ll just … take one extra brick … or two …”
Damn. Seemed like a good idea for a minute there.
