Nutter, Rendell, and Assault Weapon PSH

Sebastian’s got the goods on anti-gun shrieking out of Philly.

He adds this comment:

The problem is, the SKS is not an assault rifle. It never was an assault rifle. It’s never been banned, and there’s no reason to put it on any “list”.

And that’s EXACTLY why I’ve had my eye on a nice Yugo version with the whole blade bayonet and grenade launcher as my eventual SHTF rifle. As a matter of fact, I’m looking into composite folding stocks, rails, bipod, and all sorts of doodads to take the venerable Simonov and turn it into an EBR nightmare complete with green laser sighting, scope, and 30-round detachable magazine.

Why turn an SKS into an EBR?

Because I can, and folks like the appropriately named Nutter and Rendell can’t do a damn thing about it.
