Introduced my son to The Dark Crystal for the first time last week. He loves it. He enjoys re-enacting the Skeksis Emperor death scene complete with terminal cackling and disintegration. He’s 6 years old. We’ve done the original Star Wars trilogy (he loves ‘em), Fellowship of the Ring (the scenes I let him watch), and everything by Pixar.
Next up? Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark.

I’ve been trying to rent Raiders at the local Blockbuster for about a month so my kids can see it. It’s always rented out. They said that DVD gets rented as fast as it gets returned. May have to just buy it or something.

I was thinking the same thing. I can only find the 3-movie boxed set anywhere though. Should probably look on Amazon. I don’t care to own the 2nd installation (it was okay, but the first was essentially a perfect movie).
