Right, because they have such an exemplary track record of keeping students safe. Identical policies at Virginia Tech did SUCH a great job of keeping students safe that they simply don’t need to protect themselves.

I love this idea that when bad men come along you can just wish them away with your mind and words. Jesus! These are supposed to be institutions of “higher learning.” I’m glad one thing I learned in college was just how out of touch with reality most college liberals are.

It’s baffling on so many levels. Entrusting your security to someone else, making the argument that words can get you out of that kind of situation.

I mean … “bad idea” … come on …

Sometimes I think the only way guys like Drabenstadt and Mcgowan will understand this world is to experience first hand what it’s like to experience violence up close and personal and know that the only way they will survive is to fight back. How do these guys become any kind of spokesperson when they’re not even smart enough to learn from the mistakes of others? They don’t know that an unbalanced individual with a weapon trumps vowels and syllables? I would think the media could have so much fun tearing guys like this down, and yet they don’t. We are doomed indeed.
Y’know, I never considered myself to be any kind of genius, but next to guys like that, I feel like fuckin’ Albert Einstein!
